Carole-lynn was born in New York and has been teaching English since 1999. Many of the students she has taught are CEOs, pilots, cabin crew, engineers, surgeons and doctors. Her experience is in business English, general English, IELTS prep, aviation English and IB. She attended Long Island University in Southampton, Long Island New York where she majored in Business Administration and minored in psychology. In the early 2000s, she obtained her TEFL certification in Birmingham, England allowing her to teach English as a Foreign Language. Currently, she is studying sociology and political science at Ashford University, San Diego California.
As a trained interlocutor from the University of East London, she understands what students need in order for them to achieve better self-confidence when speaking, which is the key to fluency. Carole-lynn has held a wide variety of positions in the English language field such as academic director, corporate client liaison, head teacher, teacher trainer and foreign teacher coordinator.
Her expertise is in accent-reduction, better pronunciation and improved self-confidence. She is motivated as well as motivational leaving no student ever feeling left behind. She is a determined, focused, success-oriented professional who knows how to help her students reach their English goals.
